{ Recipe } Snack - Chocolate Protein Balls


Serves: 18 Balls | 20g per ball | 100 Calories per ball

1 & 1/2 (223g) Cup Raw Almonds
1/4 Cup (40g)  Cacao Powder
1/4 Cup (40g) Chocolate Protein Powder
1/2 Cup (20g) Desiccated Coconut
1/4 Cup (60g) Coconut Syrup


  • Blend til combined and dense
  • Roll into balls
  • Coat in Desiccated Coconut or Cacao Powder or half & half

  • Each ball weighs 20g = 100 Calories (approx)
  • Gluten Free - no flour used of any kind!
  • Dairy Free - no need for dairy in this recipe
  • Fructose Free - a lot of recipes use dates as a binder and sweet taste, but found that coconut syrup is just as good, if not better. For me, unable to have high fructose foods, this is a great alternative to dates as they are extremely high in fructose.
