Summer Inspired Breakfast Smoothie made in a Bellini

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Banana
  • 3 Apricots/Peaches
  • 1 cup Unsweetened Almond Milk
  • 1 Tspn Coconut Sugar
  • 1/2 Tspn Ground Cinnamon 
  • 1 Tspn Flaxseeds
  • 5 Cubes of Ice

METHOD

Break up the banana into pieces and cut or pull the apricots or peaches in half and remove the seeds, add the to the Bellini bowl with the chopping blade. Sprinkle the flaxseeds, cinnamon and coconut sugar over the top.

Pour in the Almond milk.   

Settings

Temp: 0  |  Speed: Increase gradually from 5 > 7 > 9

Time: Chopping blade > 1 minute > Scrape sides > Blend for 30 seconds more, it should be a nice smooth texture.

Add the ice cubes whole after you put it in the cup to drink and it will chill it right now and it is so lovely and filling!

I certainly enjoyed this one a lot more than yesterday's smoothie, it was sweeter and just so yummy with the cinnamon and I didn't sip this one, I couldn't get enough and drank all of it in a few minutes!

One of the reasons I am doing this, is because I really just don't eat this many servings of fruits or veggies in one day and I am missing out. Maybe because I am on the go, or busy with the kids, this way I can drink my way to good health much easier! 1 kg now down, 6 more to go!
